TB-500 Peptide
TB-500 is a synthetic derivative of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in tissue regeneration, angiogenesis, and cellular migration. It promotes wound healing by upregulating actin polymerization, facilitating cell motility and repair in muscle, tendon, and epithelial tissues (Goldstein et al., 2012). Preclinical studies suggest TB-500 enhances recovery from musculoskeletal injuries and reduces inflammation (Crockford, 2010). Its ability to modulate cytokine activity and promote vascularization makes it a potential candidate for regenerative medicine. However, clinical trials are needed to validate its efficacy and long-term safety.
