Sermorelin
Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that stimulates endogenous growth hormone (GH) secretion from the pituitary. It has been investigated for treating growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in children and age-related GH decline in adults (Walker et al., 1990). Compared to recombinant GH, sermorelin maintains physiological GH pulsatility, reducing adverse effects (Merriam & Cummings, 2003). Studies suggest potential benefits in metabolic regulation, muscle maintenance, and sleep quality (Khorram et al., 2003). Research continues into its anti-aging and metabolic effects.
